27 pools of damajagua

The 27 pools of Damajagua are precisely 27 pools of a river of refreshing and crystal clear waters. The adventure is about going up the river walking and then descending the river through the ponds. The excursion can be divided into three categories, these vary in the number of ponds you want to go down. The categories are 7, 12 and 27 ponds. This helps the flexibility of the tourist and the time he has available.

These pools have natural slides and many of them have stairs and paths to cross it in case you do not want to jump into the water. This famous adventure is located in the province of Puerto Plata.

The Central Park of Puerto Plata has become one of the most important meeting points in Puerto Plata. This beautiful park is also recognized by all Dominicans as the Plaza de la Independencia.
